A website devoted to Tea Planters and others who worked and lived in the North-East of India, Assam, and Burma.

The Orders and Medals Research Society has almost 3,000 members worldwide, numbering collectors, students, researchers, dealers, museums and libraries amongst the membership.

THE ORDERS & MEDALS RESEARCH SOCIETY - VANCOUVER B.C. BRANCH

The Vancouver Branch of the OMRS was formed in 2004 to help local researchers and collectors study orders, medals, and the men and women to whom they were awarded. Our members are drawn from across Western Canada, and most have particular fields of interest and expertise. Although the focus of the Branch is on the honours and awards of the British Empire & Commonwealth, including Canada, we also have members who concentrate on the orders and medals of other nations from around the world. As a branch, we meet three to four times per year, plus special events, and produce an engaging annual yearbook.

THE WESTERN FRONT ASSOCIATION

The Western Front Association was formed with the aim of furthering interest in the period 1914-1918, to perpetuate the memory, courage and comradeship of all those who served their countries in France and Flanders and their own countries during The Great War.
